We are in a messianic process which is slowly bringing light to the world so that humanity won't be completely blinded (or destroyed) by the sudden onset of the light. Deeds done in darkness are coming to light and Truth is replacing falsehood as the Olam HaSheker disintegrates.

Rabbi Zamir Cohen has written a book called The Coming Revolution, Science Discovers the Truths of the Bible. At the End of Days, everything will come into harmony with the Truth of Torah and everything, technology included, will proclaim the Oneness of G-d.

Question: Is the web bot project part of that revolution?

The following is excerpted from an interview with the originator of the web bot project. It appears to foretell the rise of Mashiach (although those involved would disagree with this idea)and a possible holocaust (G-d forbid!) in America, all beginning in only a few weeks in October 2009.

1) That's a tricky one. It's one of those instances where we can't be too forthcoming because we don't want to reveal or participate or create a feedback loop that's going to endanger this individual, but apparently there's going to be a rather visible, or that is to say, a near-global personality that will arise as a result of, or out of the chaos of this coming Fall and through next year that we'll all think of later as a central figure to the humanitarian revolution against the powers that be. This individual is shown as having remarkable power in, hmmm, let's just say the entertainment field, but we're not talking an entertainer, ok. We're talking somebody who's going to be able to use their particular talent as a motivating factor for humans and this individual is described in various ways, but one of the key factors that we'll all recognize this individual by will be the level of individual personal suffering that is involved there, so, very much a, in our viewpoint, very much an admirable being that has arisen to a particular level of mindset, if you will, as a result of years of suffering. Ok, now the impact on this is going to be really shocking. I mean to the point where we think that we'll actually see exhibited, probably in some of the monarchist states, maybe in Belgium and England, this kind of thing, where we'll actually see the words of this individual banned. Once we start seeing them ban the contents of, and I won't go into the particular media, then we'll know we're onto that particular track. However, it should be a rather short and very meteoric rise as to global awareness. As we get into the chaos and everything starts becoming a little bit really strange, there will be this central point that stands out, that, you know, this guy really understands...that this particular person stands out as a stellar encapsulator of our common experience, if you will.

2) We're going to reach levels that replicate or exceed the impact of the Weimar Republic, that is to say, the pre-Hitler Germany Republic went through a nasty stage of hyper-inflation. We're going to hit something that will exceed that. The powers that be, the last time that occurred, used something in the following linguistic trail to create chaos. What they did was they got a leader up there who, for his own reasons was anti-Jewish, and so they started this mantra: "Dirty bankers caused Germany's defeat. Dirty bankers caused Germany's defeat. Dirty JEWISH bankers caused Germany's defeat." And finally it just came down to where they were advocating wholesale violence against the Jews and they dropped off all of the banker part and so on. And the general Jewish population had no concept of any of this stuff going on. Indeed there was a Zionist, if we should categorize it that way, banker elite that was involved and that included people like Prescott Bush, the grandpappy of old President Bush, you know, that kind of thing, so, it's not strictly speaking, a Jewish issue, but we're facing conditions that the same kind of a mantra can be used to lead to a pogrom, and that is to say a wholesale, um, i don't want to say a war, but a social movement against the jewish population and it may it may indeed be that it comes to that, but however, we see some stuff showing up in late 2010 in the general revolution that would seem to veer us away from the path that the powers that be have already picked out which leads that direction. Their goal is to have a dictator arise in 2012 that will pretty much take care of "the Jewish problem" as it will be stated then, which will be an outgrowth of all of the suffering that we have all suffered from the central bank and warfare model. And it will be an attempt to disguise the fact that they were the cause of it with the central bank and warfare model of how to run human affairs. ...Some of them happen to have affiliations to the Jewish community, but they're bad guys. That doesn't make all Jewish people bad guys but these very specific individuals are very evil because they will attempt to shift the blame in as wide a fashion as they possibly can to get out from underneath it These are the people we call "the banksters" and the political minions and their last gasp is playing out as we speak. It will get really chaotic this Fall as the various bits and pieces of this huge bailout bubble start breaking down and we start getting some secrets revealed about what's going on.

The Fear Factor

Some claim that all attempts to put the fear of G-d into Jews today is a useless endeavor. They simply aren't motivated by it. Instead, unconditional love is the answer. It sounds nice, but is it true?

The Prophet Yeshayahu (Perek 2, Pasuk 19)---

And they shall come into the caves of the rocks and into the hollows of the earth, because of the fear of the Lord and because of the splendor of His pride, when He rises to break the earth.

And I will visit evil upon the earth, and upon the wicked their iniquity; and I will cut off the pride of the presumptuous, and the arrogance of the tyrants I will humble. I will make mortal man dearer than fine gold, and man [dearer] than the collection of the gold of Ophir. Therefore, I will make heaven quake, and the earth will quake out of its place, because of the anger of the Lord of Hosts, and on the day of His burning wrath.

The aspect/attributes which grow under [army] in this context are entirely given over to [control], and focus on the [populace/usofa].

...As the modelspace is progressed through November and December, the [disaster] sub set in support of [war] and its affect on the Populace/USofA entity increases with supporting sets from [dark days (and) omens], through to [space (based) disasters], and includes [northern (fleet?) loss]. Other supporting layers include very emotionally charged lexical sets for [kneeling] and [praying]. These are further supported by large sets for [grief] at a [national level].

...the Populace/USOfA entity is constantly reflecting [war] as a subject. The data sets indicate that the [political elite] will instigate [lethal/deadly attacks] against the [populace/usofa]. "

Israel to Hit Iran 'as Part of Deal including Yesha Evictions'

(IsraelNN.com) As two Israeli missile-class warships joined a navy submarine in the Red Sea, an Israeli defense source made it clear that the moves are intended as a threatening message to Iran.

“This is preparation that should be taken seriously,” the unnamed source told the London Times. “Israel is investing time in preparing itself for the complexity of an attack on Iran.”

“These maneuvers are a message to Iran that Israel will follow up on its threats,” he emphasized.

The exercises “come at a time when Western diplomats are offering support for an Israeli strike on Iran in return for Israeli concessions on the formation of a Palestinian state,” the Times said. It quoted an nanonymous British official as saying that if the deal completed, it would make an Israeli strike on Iran realistic “within the year.”

Diplomats said that Israel had offered concessions “on settlement policy, Palestinian land claims and issues with neighboring Arab states, to facilitate a possible strike on Iran. “ A senior European diplomat, also unnamed, said that “Israel has chosen to place the Iranian threat over its settlements.”

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said in a news conference Wednesday that the ships passed through the canal with Egypt’s permission, and that “ships may pass through the canal as long as they do not threaten the country which controls the canal.” He noted that the international agreements regulating which ships may pass through the Suez Canal date back to 1888.

The two Saar-class ships, INS Eilat and INS Chanit, sailed into the Red Sea Wednesday in what was the report described as “a clear signal that Israel was able to put its strike force within range of Iran at short notice.”

Ten days earlier, a Dolphin-class submarine with nuclear-missile strike capabilities passed through the Suez Canal into the Red Sea as well. Later reports said it, too, was accompanied by two Israeli missile boats – meaning that four missile boats have now crossed the canal. Israel has six Dolphin-class submarines, three of which are believed to carry nuclear missiles, the Times said.

Later this month, the Israel Air Force will hold long-range exercises in the U.S. and will test a missile defense shield at a U.S. missile range in the Pacific Ocean.

While local Israeli media have played up alleged tensions between Egypt and Israel over past statements by Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, the Times report says that Israel “has strengthened ties with Arab nations who also fear a nuclear-armed Iran” and quotes an Israeli diplomat who said that relations with Egypt, in particular, have grown increasingly strong this year over the “shared mutual distrust of Iran.”

The report estimates that Israel’s missile-equipped submarines and its fleet of advanced aircraft could simultaneously strike at more than a dozen nuclear-related targets in Iran.

The Arrow interceptor system that will be tested in the Pacific is designed to defend Israel from ballistic missile attacks by Iran and Syria. According to Lt.-Gen. Patrick O’Reilly, Director of the Pentagon’s Missile Defense Agency, this month’s test will be against a target with a range of more than 1,000km. This range is too long for testing in the eastern Mediterranean, where Israel held its previous tests of the Arrow.

The Israeli Air Force, meanwhile, will send F16C fighter jets to participate in exercises at Nellis Air Force base in Nevada later this month, and Israeli C130 Hercules transport aircraft will participate in the Rodeo 2009 competition at the McChord Air Force base in Washington.

“It is not by chance that Israel is drilling long-range maneuvers in a public way. This is not a secret operation. This is something that has been published and which will showcase Israel’s abilities,” an Israeli defense official said.

Los Angeles accused of criminalizing homelessness

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Two major advocacy groups for the homeless on Tuesday ranked Los Angeles as the "meanest" city in the United States, citing a Skid Row police crackdown they say has criminalized poverty and homelessness there.

L.A.'s so-called Safer City Initiative was singled out in the groups' report as the most egregious example of policies and practices nationwide that essentially punish people for failing to have a roof over their heads.

Others include making it illegal to sleep, sit or store personal belongings on sidewalks and other public spaces; prohibitions against panhandling or begging; and selective enforcement of petty offenses like jaywalking and loitering.

Such measures are widespread in the face of a deep economic recession and foreclosure crisis that have increased homelessness over the past two years, according to the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty and the National Coalition for the Homeless.

The Lost Ark of the Covenant

(IsraelNN.com) Ethiopian church leader says Friday, June 26, marks the right time to unveil the Biblical Ark of the Covenant, which he says has been hidden in his church for centuries.

Abuna Pauolos, Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, was in Rome this week to meet with Pope Benedict XVI. While there, he told reporters that the time had come to reveal before the world the Holy Ark. He said that the holy container has been in the custody of his church for hundreds of years...

ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia - The Queen of Sheba's palace isn't what it used to be. Its roof is long gone. Its grand entrance is but a memory. Yet the 3,000-year-old ruins remain, sprawling over thin-grassed farm fields in Axum -- once the capital of a great world power and today a dusty Ethiopian town where cows and children, goats and donkeys roam free.

Here, according to Ethiopians, a great dynasty was born. And, as all great dynasties should, this one begins with a love story. As they tell it, the Queen of Sheba left Ethiopia only once, to visit King Solomon in Jerusalem. Solomon, despite being married, became smitten with the beautiful Queen. She reciprocated his desire and upon her return to Axum she gave birth to his son, Menelik.

Menelik I took the throne when his mother died, roughly a thousand years B.C.E., and began a line of Solomonic rulers that endured with only a brief interruption until Emperor Haile Selassie, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, was deposed 31 years ago.

Menelik I is also, according to the Ethiopian Orthodox church, responsible for that country's possessing the greatest relic of the Judeo-Christian tradition. It seems that the king went to visit his father, and somehow brought back the original Ark of the Covenant, previously kept in the great Temple in Jerusalem.

The Ark is believed to hold the original tablets containing the Ten Commandments that God handed to Moses on Mount Sinai, and it is now said to be kept in Axum's Church of St. Mary of Zion. Only one elderly monk guards this treasure, which no one else may see. More here

The Ark remained in the Temple until its destruction at the hand of the Babylonian empire, led by Nebuchadnezzar. What happened to it afterward is unknown, and has been debated and pondered for centuries. It is unlikely that the Babylonians took it, as they did the other vessels of the Temple, because the detailed lists of what they took make no mention of the Ark. According to some sources, Josiah, one of the final kings to reign in the First Temple period, learned of the impending invasion of the Babylonians and hid the Ark. Where he hid it is also questionable – according to one midrash, he dug a hole under the wood storehouse on the Temple Mount and buried it there (Yoma 53b). Another account says that Solomon foresaw the eventual destruction of the Temple, and set aside a cave near the Dead Sea, in which Josiah eventually hid the Ark (Maimonides, Laws of the Temple, 4:1).

One of the most fascinating possibilities is advanced by Ethiopian Christians who claim that they have the Ark today. In Axum, Ethiopia, it is widely believed that the Ark is currently being held in the Church of Saint Mary of Zion, guarded by a monk known as the "Keeper of the Ark," who claims to have it in his possesion. According to the Axum Christian community, they acquired the Ark during the reign of Solomon, when his son Menelik, whose mother was the Queen of Sheba, stole the Ark after a visit to Jerusalem. While in the not-so-distant past the "Ark" has been brought out for Christian holidays, its keeper has not done so for several years due to the tumultuous political situation in the country. The claim has thus been impossible to verify, for no one but the monk is allowed into the tent.......

He commanded that a special place be built in the bowels of the earth, where the sacred vessels of the Temple could be hidden in case of approaching danger. Midrashic tradition teaches that King Josiah of Israel, who lived about forty years before the destruction of the First Temple, commanded the Levites to hide the Ark, together with the original menorah and several other items*, in this secret hiding place which Solomon had prepared.

This location is recorded in our sources, and today, there are those who know exactly where this chamber is. And we know that the ark is still there, undisturbed, and waiting for the day when it will be revealed.

N. Korea ship, maybe with weapons, passes Shanghai

SEOUL, South Korea – A North Korean ship suspected of carrying illicit weapons cruised through waters off Shanghai on Tuesday en route to Myanmar, a news report said, as regional military officials and a U.S. destroyer kept a close eye on the vessel.

Their target is currently 322 kilometers south of Shanghai. It is expected to make its way through the Strait of Malacca for possible refueling in Singapore.

...DEBKAfile's military sources report that no official in Washington, Seoul or Tokyo can say whether the US and North Korea are heading for a naval clash, a limited air engagement or possibly a small incident that could get out of hand and blow up into a major encounter.

New FTC guidelines would allow government to scrutinize content of websites, “patrol what bloggers say and do”

The Federal Reserve refuses to disclose where trillions of dollars in bailout money went and yet the FTC is more concerned about snooping into the financial affairs of bloggers who make a few bucks off affiliate relationships, according to new guidelines set to be introduced later this year that would give the government a foot in the door to regulate and shut down blogs for making “false claims”.

“New guidelines, expected to be approved late this summer with possible modifications, would clarify that the agency can go after bloggers — as well as the companies that compensate them — for any false claims or failure to disclose conflicts of interest,” states an Associated Press report.
Furious that struggling families are supplementing their income by having housewives write blogs about cooking, or individuals posting political opinions and funding their operation by carrying affiliate links to Amazon books, the new FTC regulations would ensure that “Any type of blog could be scrutinized, not just ones that specialize in reviews,” according to the report.

The proviso that “any type of blog could be scrutinized” frames this assault on free speech in a wider context that just individuals making claims about products advertised on their websites.
The proposed guidelines (PDF) state that “deceptive speech is not protected by the First Amendment,” and that “The Supreme Court has repeatedly stated that the government can restrict, or even ban, such speech.” Of course, the issue of whether such speech is deceptive will be decided by the government itself.

The definition of “false claims” is so loose that it could hand the feds the power to shut down any website on a whim based on the flimsiest of pretexts. The AP report notes that the new guidelines would create a system to “patrol systematically what bloggers say and do online”.

As the Cryptogon website points out, in reality this has little to do with the FTC’s concern for fair business practices and everything to do with the government getting a foot in the door for their overarching agenda to regulate and control blogs and free speech on the Internet.

“What has happened is that bloggers have blown the support columns out from underneath traditional media and the people who run the show don’t like that.”

“The fact that some of us are able to survive by maintaining blogs must have come as an incredible shock to fat bastards in boardrooms across the land. That we are not “regulated” is unthinkable in the Soviet hive mind that governs the political economy of the United States.”
This is all about creating a chilling atmosphere and preventing people from creating their own websites by establishing a mountain of red tape and bureaucracy around the currently simple process of writing and maintaining a blog.

The ultimate endgame is to mimic the Chinese Internet system of total government regulation and censorship via the implementation of a registration process whereby every blogger will be assigned a number and given permission to blog by the government. If the blogger expresses an opinion deemed unsavory by the authorities then their registration credentials will be terminated and their ability to login to their own blog will be removed.

Walpin haunts Kingpin

Americorps Inspector General Gerald Walpin smelled a rat and began investigating the misuse of AmeriCorps funds by Kevin Johnson, the former NBA star who is now mayor of Sacramento, California and a prominent supporter of President Obama. Walpin, whose position as inspector general is supposed to be protected from influence by political appointees and the White House, was fired. Who fired him? The President himself...

Mister V the snake thinks he can remove Hashem's beloved children from entire chunks of our promised Holy Land; his utter arrogance and his blatant attempt to stifle Jewish growth in the Land of Israel have now moved him into the direct "care" of Hashem Himself. In that respect, Hashem is exposing the Chicago Kingpin that now resides in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC much quicker than I thought He would. Apparantly, there's not much time left so everything is moving fast...

So now, Walpin is haunting the Kingpin. From a perspective of clean government, the Walpin affair is much nastier than Nixon's Watergate, which ultimately led to an impeachment.

Wake up, America. You've put an Ivy-League slick-tongued Mafia Kingpin in the White House; he's already printed a trillion dollars to bail out his buddies. You let him get away with that, but you and your grandchildren will shoulder the bill.

Beitar Illit and Maale Edumim are Hashem's jewels; a sane person doesn't go around threatening to remove lovely Torah-dedicated Jewish families with 9 and 10 children from their homes in the well-established cities that the Kingpin calls "settlements" slated for demolition, Heaven forbid. He hasn't learned the lesson of New Orleans, struck by Hurricane Katrina the same day that Jewish Gaza was forcefully exiled. Extreme arrogance always overrides sanity. The Kingpin is making tragic mistakes, and Hashem will personally nail him just like He nailed Pharoah and Haman.

Look how cunning a snake the Kingpin really is. He built an entire Judenrat with such henchmen as Rahm (רם gematria 240, which equals עמלק 'Amalek') Emanuel and "Special Counsel to the President for Ethics and Government Reform" (sic) Norman Eisen.

Walpin is only the beginning of the Kingpin's nightmares. Nevertheless, like Pharaoh, the Kingpin will receive temporary respite so that Hashem can rain on him many more personal plagues. Drunk with his own stupendous ego, the Kingpin will continue making more and bigger mistakes. If America won't have the backbone to investigate him and impeach him, she's liable to crash-land with him and thereby see a lot more suffering. Just wait and see.

Do you think we've been joking every time we've been calling for our American brethren to make Aliya, pronto? In the same manner that Pharaoh's misdeeds reduced ancient Egypt to rubble, Katrina will be a tea party compared to the devistation that B. Hussein Kingpin brings down on America with his pressure on Israel and his appeasement of international terrorist states. Don't say that you weren't forewarned.

As dawn brightens on the horizon, its light begins to permeate every dark corner and reveal everything that was previously hidden in the darkness. When the new day arrives, it is impossible to remain asleep any longer.

By now, I'm sure you've probably already seen the video of NBC's Brian Williams bowing to Obama as if he were royalty and the video of Evan Thomas of Newsweek calling Obama "a god."

This is the ultimate gaivah about which Hashem says, "There is not enough room in the world for both Me and him."

Israel's Channel One TV reported that Netanyahu was told Tuesday by an "American official" in Jerusalem that, "We are going to change the world. Please, don't interfere." The report said Netanyahu's aides interpreted this as a "threat." (Hat tip to the SpineDoc's wife)

There is a Jew who stands at Barack Obama's right hand. His name is Rahm, as in "loud, high, senior, important, esteemed." He is a reflection of his boss's self-image.

Snakes in Glass Houses

Many of our good friends and longtime Beams readers have written lately and asked why I haven't yet made a frontal assault on Mister V in DC. The reason is simple - we have moved a giant step closer to the Geula. Politics and politicking no longer determine anything. The closer we get to Moshiach, the more Hashem is revealing His individual tailor-made precision Divine Providence over the entire universe, and within each individual.

Hashem put Obama in power. True, the future of Israel seems bleak. Obama, who in Cherokee dialect would be called inadu because of his forked tongue, promised to end American dictates around the world. Yet, in Israel, he and his emissaries are doing their utmost to ram unkosher policies down Jewish throats. Yet, a snake doesn't bite unless Hashem tells it too. Obama and his threat against hundreds of thousand of Jewish homes in Judea, Samaria, and the suburbs of Jerusalem are merely a wake-up call designed for us to strengthen ourselves in teshuva and emuna.

Political activism didn't save Gush Katif and it won't save Beitar or Maale Edumim - only teshuva and personal prayer will.

All of the severe prophecies about bloodshed and redemption are true, but by way of personal prayer - especially thanking Hashem profusely for all of our trials and tribulations as well as our blessings, the sever prophecies and stern judgments will be mitigated and the Geula will come peacefully and sweetly.

Meanwhile, one who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw stones. In the name of my dear Cherokee friends and brothers, the USA should return to its 1831 borders, when the Indian Act disenfranchised the Cherokee nation from their tribal lands in North Carolina. The US Government must respect and acknowledge the legitimate rights of the Cherokee Nation, and all the white-man settlements including Raleigh and Durham must be dismantled immediately.

Once a fair peace agreement is reached with the Cherokee, then the USA must negotiate with the Sioux, the Cheyenne, the Navajo, the Apaches, the Nez Perces... the list is long. When the US Government finishes repairing its own injustice, crimes, and acts of genocide against Native Americans, then maybe they'll be able to stick their noses in our business.

Now, we can finally realize why zoos keep snakes in glass houses.

President Obama, Beware!

Tens of thousands turned out for the annual Jerusalem Day march through the streets of Jerusalem to the Kotel. Along the way, we stopped outside the American Consulate on Agron Street for a mass protest rally against US President Hussein Obama’s pronouncements about dividing the Land of Israel and Jerusalem, G-d forbid.

The flag of American waved on the roof of the Consulate building behind the protest bandstand, where a large sign proclaimed: GOD GAVE ISRAEL TO THE JEWS! After Meir Indor, head of the Algamor Terror Victims Association spoke of the dangers of any further territorial compromise, speakers read a Declaration of Allegiance to a united Eretz Yisrael and a united Jerusalem, in Hebrew, English, French, and Arabic. As a oleh from America, I was asked to address President Obama in English. Holding a Bible in hand, I read out the following declaration:

JERUSALEM DAY DECLARATION

We have gathered here today, citizens of the State of Israel, to pledge our allegiance to Jerusalem, our eternal united capital, and to pledge allegiance to the entire Land of Israel. On this day which marks the reunification of Jerusalem, 42 years ago during the Six Day War, we proclaim to the President of the United States, to the people of the America, and to all the nations of the world, that we will not budge from our Holy City and our Holy Land!

In the words of our holy Rabbi, Rabbi Tzvi Yehuda HaKohen Kook, spoken to reporters on that very day, “We announce to all the world that by wondrous kindness of G-d, we have returned to our home, to our holy city. From this day forth, we shall never budge from here! We have come home!”

The L-rd God of Israel bought this day about. It was G-d who returned us to our Land and Holy City, and no man, no mortal of flesh and blood, however powerful he may be, Mr. President, can take these gifts of G-d from us.

Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish People, and the Jewish People alone. Jerusalem is the city of our kings, of King David and King Solomon, Jerusalem is the city of our HolyTemple, Jerusalem is the city of our prophets, the prophets of Israel, the prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel.

In the words of Rabbi Kook, “We have come home through the wondrous acts of G-d. And the pinnacle of our homecoming is in our return to Jerusalem. All of the rulers of the world cannot alter this Divine historic fact. “The counsel of the L-rd endures forever!”

We make this declaration of loyalty to our beloved Holy City and to our G-d given homeland in affirmation of the word of G-d to the Jewish People as set down in the Bible, as it says: “And G-d appeared to Isaac and said, ‘Do not go down to Egypt; dwell in the Land that I have given to you. Live in this Land, and I will be with you and I will bless you, for to you and to your descendants I will give all of these Lands, and I will keep the oath that I swore to your father Abraham.’”

This book is our deed to the Land of Israel. The Bible - the eternal word of G-d. G-d gave this Land to the Jewish People. Therefore, on Jerusalem Day, we call out to the President of United States, and to the people of America, and to all the believers in the Bible the world over, to stand by us, the people of Israel, in defending the unity of our ancient capital, Jerusalem, and the indivisible unity our ancient, Promised Land.

President Obama, in the words of a great American, Martin Luther King, we call out in a loud, united voice, “WE HAVE A DREAM!”

We have a dream, Mr. President – a dream of 2000 years, as the Psalmist King David proclaimed in the Bible: “When the L-rd brought the exiles back to Zion, we were like those who dream.” For 2000 years the Jewish People dreamed of returning to our Holy City, and now that G-d has brought us back, we will never budge from here! We will never budge from here! We will never budge from here!

Therefore, we, the People of Israel, call out in a loud united voice, just as King David proclaimed in the Book of Psalms: “If I forget Jerusalem, may I forget my right hand; may my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I don’t remember and set Jerusalem above my greatest joy.”

On this joyous day, during our celebration of the unification of Jerusalem under Jewish sovereignty, we appeal to United States President Obama, and to our friends and allies, the American people, with a holy request and a warning. Help us fulfill the promise of G-d to the Jewish People. Stand by us in making Jerusalem the undivided capital of the Jewish People forever. For, as the Bible promises, whoever blesses the Jewish People will be blessed, and whoever wrongs them will be damned forever.

G-D GAVE ISRAEL TO THE JEWS!

Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Day) has not even ended and already the rhetoric is already heating up...

(Jpost) US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (friend of the Jews of New York) speaking on Al Jazeera...

"We want to see a stop to settlement construction, additions, natural growth - any kind of settlement activity," declared Clinton in some of the Obama administration's clearest comments to date on what it expects from Israel.

Note to Jews and friends of the Jewish people world-wide, according to the US almost ALL of Jerusalem is a settlement. Just pull up Google Maps and note the 1949 Armistice Line still there. EVERYTHING on the other side, per the US State Department, is a settlement. This includes...

The old city, French Hill, Ramot, Ramat Shlomo, 1/2 of Maale Dafne, well basically most of the city!

Even the secular Israelis and the Israeli government is being pushed against the wall. While there are those in Israeli society that have begged the US to "push Israel into a peace settlement", even they balk as increasingly demands move from reasonable to less possible to impossible - not even taking into account Torah shel Moshe and the inheritance of Eretz Yisroel.

Israel will be left to trust in Hashem and His Torah, or trust in the empty promises of Obama and the security of the UN.

No one looks forward to a test of faith. Yet there's more simple faith among the common Jew in Israel than one might think. Outside of Israel there's a pretty strong dividing line between Jews with emunah and those without - mostly along the orthodox/non-orthodox border. But in Israel emunah is widespread, the simple Jew exists and is not a rare find. There are strong cultural, segmentation and sect divides (charedi, mizrachi, national religious, kibbutznik, settler, etc), but here in Israel emunah crosses all boundaries.

For those of us too complex for simple faith, from too many arguments of the world pressing in on our thoughts, it's time to focus upon works, teachings and thoughts of emunah (faith) in Hashem. For there is no chochma (wisdom) to get out of what's coming, only emunah (faith) in Hashem.
