The Planet Jupiter has been hit by massive object! News headlines right out the ages of old from one of the oldest holy books.

The sefer 'Seder Olam Raba' states that in the time leading up to the redemption there will be a time of judgment. One sign of this time is the planet Zedek being struck. We all thought this happened when the comet Shoemaker-Levi #9 impacted Zedek (aka Jupiter) 18 times in the 90's, which was barely visible from Earth.

Today's impact was highly visible from Earth, spotted by an amateur astronomer with a 14" telescope in his back yard. As we are entering a time of Tzimzum, 'of constriction', maybe we are witnessing the evidence as foretold by our sages of old, blessed be their names.

We are in for a time of Constriction as never before. The last great birth pain, great contraction, was the Holocaust which brought about the physical redemption and we received the land of Israel. Geula Hagoof.

Now it appears we are beginning the passage through the darkest period in our history, the war of GoG. It looks like we are about to unfortunately pass another two contractions and receive the Geula HaNefesh and Geula HaRuach, the final redemption.

Hashem has sweetened all this by giving us this galut and causing us to fall away. This was to make the sentence lighter but we do not have to revel in it or to wallow in it. We must do teshuva and return.

There are many proofs of our time stamp, where we are holding on the cosmic clock. However, it not the time of proof. Sooner or later we must let go of our egos and justification of our laziness. We need to act now! This requires some believe and trust as we are running out of time.

We have in our power to by pass all this and receive the geula early 'acheshena' by doing complete and rapid TSHUVAH. The clock is ticking down and there are no time outs remaining.

It's up to us to arouse our fellow to do t'shuva b'ahava - to return to Hashem out of love. We must cause a spontaneous rapid and complete arousal from the below. I'Rutah hatata! It is our only hope to receive the geula before its time 'B'Etah' and with mercy. For mercy only goes with before its time. Woe unto us if we blow this off!

Hashem has warned us! In writing and with witnesses, and He wants and longs to show us His complete mercy. But our deeds are forcing him to give us a potch (a smack). Wake up! Please do not try process this, your ego is in the way. Just do tshuvah now!

Lets make it simple. Hashem is waiting for you and me to come to Him and renew the brit that we made with Him at Har Sinai before the conquest of the land. But we are standing here not catching the fact that we have to do it! No one is coming for us if we do not step forward to meet Him and hasten the process!

It's up to each of us to lose our egos. What, you like the Gehinom that we have made here for ourselves in this world? Personally, I'm ready for a change.

May we merit it before it's time, mamash today.

Iraq lashed by sandstorms and battling drought

BAGHDAD (AP) — Below-average rainfall and insufficient water in the Euphrates and Tigris rivers have left Iraq bone dry for a second straight year, wrecking swaths of farm land, threatening drinking water supplies and intensifying fierce sandstorms that have coated the country in brown dust.

The drought has dealt a harsh blow to hopes that reductions in sectarian violence over the last year would fuel an economic recovery. Instead, the government's budget suffered a double-hit: Lower than expected oil prices have crimped revenues and the scarcity of water will force Iraq to spend money to import most of the crops, especially wheat and rice, to meet domestic demand.

"Look at this land. There is no water," said Ashur Mohamed Ahmood, slipping the tip of his black cane into deep cracks in his parched field. He cautioned children not to run, fearing their small bare feet would get stuck in the crevices crisscrossing the farm on the outskirts of Baghdad.

"Without water there are no plants. This is the plant," he says, uprooting a weed and throwing it back to the ground.


The prophet Yirmiyahu (Jeremiah) said this about Iraq at the end of days:

(50:12, 38; 51:36, 43) ...behold the end of the nations is desert, wasteland, and a barren plain. ...A drought is upon her waters, and they shall dry up, ....I will dry up her sea and dry up her fountain. ...Her cities became desolate, a dry land and a desert....

Astounding? Amazing? Just keep in mind that the same prophet wrote the following words which will prove to be just as true---

(51:45) ...Go out of its midst, My people, and each one save his life, from the burning wrath of the Lord.

(Paraphrase) The judgment that is befalling the nations is not meant for you. Come home where I've prepared for you a place of protection.

(49:4, 5) ...In those days and in that time, says the Lord, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together; they shall go along weeping, and they shall seek the Lord their God. They shall inquire of Zion; their faces are directed hitherward. "Come and join the Lord [with] an everlasting covenant that shall not be forgotten."

In some areas of the Midlands an entire month’s worth of rain fell in just three hours and in Hastings and St Leonards families had to be evacuated from their homes as the sudden deluge caused floods more than two feet deep.

Five years ago, the London Guardian reported about a secret Pentagon report that was suppressed by President Bush, warning that imminent climatic changes and natural disasters will destroy the USA and much of the world, and that large areas will sink under rising seas. For hundreds of years, Kabbalists have been saying that entire continents will disappear under water as Redemption Day approaches. I heard it personally from Rabbi Amnon Yitzchak shlit'a. Today, scientists around the world are carefully monitoring earth's rising waters. Things are changing, just as our sages have predicted.

Worried? The Talmud says (tractate Kiddushin 69a) that Israel is the highest of lands. Many nonbelievers use the above statement as "proof" to the inaccuracy of Talmud. When the rest of the world will be under water, and Israel will be high and dry, all shall see the universal and eternal truth of every letter in the Gemorra.

This time, you won't need an ark. Start thinking about moving to Israel.

The Gemara also teaches us that the Beis HaMikdash is the highest place in Israel - that makes it the highest place on earth!

Here goes again....the earth is trembling from the approaching presence of Hashem we are about to witness soon (we need to keep praying).

Italy experienced a magnitude 6.3 earthquake with its epicenter just 70 miles from Rome. While we have had much discussion as to what is Rome and Edom, etc...it's hard to imagine that the city of Rome is anything other than its name represents.

Warnings...to the whole world. Especially with the Pope on his way to Israel soon. But mostly to us. Everybody else is blind and deaf. Nobody realizes that we are getting direct communications from Hashem through these massive natural disasters.

I can't get the feeling out of my head that Edom/Romi is going to fall very soon. Especially after reading what Yeranen Yaakov had to say in Sun vs. Rome. As I commented there, if the Sun and Rome are in a perpetual battle, logic dictates that when the sun is at its strength -- starting again at the position at which it was created -- Rome would be very weak (to say the least).

The ground is shifting -- LITERALLY. Let's make sure we're at least on solid [spiritual] ground. And hold on tight. I feel like we haven't seen anything yet as far as tests of our Emunah and Bitachon. Hashem wants to make sure that we really, really trust and love him. So let's brace ourselves. It might be a bumpy ride, but we know who's in charge....

4 Volcanoes currently causing concern

Rabaul Volcano Papua New Guinea - Eruptions continue at Rabaul volcano. During the week of 27th March to 2nd April there were occasional strong ash emissions from Tavurvur crater, accompanied by roaring noises. A crater glow was visible at night. Ash fell over Rabaul town on 2nd April, and drifted SE on other days. Generally, deflation was measured at the caldera, but there were periods of inflation during the past 2 weeks. ...It sounds ridiculous. Surely the sun couldn't create so profound a disaster on Earth. Yet an extraordinary report funded by NASA and issued by the US National Academy of Sciences (NAS) in January this year claims it could do just that.

Over the last few decades, western civilisations have busily sown the seeds of their own destruction. Our modern way of life, with its reliance on technology, has unwittingly exposed us to an extraordinary danger: plasma balls spewed from the surface of the sun could wipe out our power grids, with catastrophic consequences.

The projections of just how catastrophic make chilling reading. "We're moving closer and closer to the edge of a possible disaster," says Daniel Baker, a space weather expert based at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and chair of the NAS committee responsible for the report.

...The most serious space weather event in history happened in 1859. It is known as the Carrington event, after the British amateur astronomer Richard Carrington, ....

Though a solar outburst could conceivably be more powerful, "we haven't found an example of anything worse than a Carrington event", says James Green, head of NASA's planetary division and an expert on the events of 1859. "From a scientific perspective, that would be the one that we'd want to survive." However, the prognosis from the NAS analysis is that, thanks to our technological prowess, many of us may not.

... "If a Carrington event happened now, it would be like a hurricane Katrina, but 10 times worse," says Paul Kintner, a plasma physicist at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.

..."The Carrington event happened during a mediocre, ho-hum solar cycle," Kintner says. "It came out of nowhere, so we just don't know when something like that is going to happen again."

Asteroid #2 - Another Warning?

Today, another "newly discovered" asteroid whizzed past earth at a close distance. On another occasion several weeks ago, a different asteroid had a close call as well.

Hashem is in charge of the entire creation and all that occurs within it. Whether the world is aware or not doesn't matter - it is the fact. The asteroids remind us of what the scientists "believe" happened once before. While I don't want to go into detail of their "beliefs", suffice it to say that the world has never been the same since. (hint,hint)

The world has long been showing us major changes. We have now reached a point where these changes are no longer only coming from the earth itself, rather from the celstial beings as well. Hashem directs and controls those too. In fact, if I understand the RaMBaM's words correctly, they are closer to Hashem than us and all sing His praise constantly. When the sun stood still during the war Yehoshua was fighting, our Rabbis tell us it stopped singing praise and therefore stood still instead of continuing its orbit.

I find it reasonable for us all to assume we will be expecting more "fly-bys" and "chance" encounters of different sorts over the next short while. Hashem is showing us that it is high-time to realize WHO is really running the show. He is using "nature" to show it to the world. For nature becomes supernatural when Hashem steps out of hiding and makes it harder and harder to believe it was actually just chance.

The approach to the final redemption will be filled with miracles. In all likelihood, they will seem natural and less so and less so as it goes on. Amalek will be there throughout, to sow the seeds of doubt, citing numerous statistics and calculations to attempt to throw us off course. By fighting those attempts, we will be erasing amalek and allowing Hashem's reign to be recognized clearly. That is our job until Hashem's Name will be One on that day. As it says "...On that day, Hashem will be One and His Name One." We all have a chance to bring it forth and see it happen.

Phew! Asteroid's passing was a cosmic near-miss

PASADENA, Calif. – An asteroid about the size of one that leveled more than 800 square miles of forest in Siberia a century ago just buzzed the Earth. The asteroid named 2009 DD45 was about 48,800 miles from Earth when it zipped past early Monday, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory reported.

That is just twice as high as the orbits of some telecommunications satellites and about a fifth of the distance to the Moon.

"This was pretty darn close," astronomer Timothy Spahr of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics said Wednesday.

The Wilkins Shelf began disinteg rating at the end of the summer of 2008, continued to collapse during the winter and it has now been reported that an ice sheet of 14,000 square kilometres has broken off, and has itself broken into several large icebergs, according to a statement from Spain's National Research Council (CSIC).

CSIC scientists aboard the Hesperides maritime research vessel spotted the disintegration, about 1,600 kilometres south of the southern tip of South America. If their observation is confirmed, only a small tip of the huge 16,000 square kilometre ice shelf would still be attached to Antarctica.

In March 2008 David Vaughan, of the British Artarctic Survey said "Wilkins is the largest ice shelf on the Antarctic Peninsula yet to be threatened,” he said. “I didn’t expect to see things happen this quickly. We predicted it would happen, but it’s happened twice as fast as we predicted.”

Unseen dark comets 'could pose deadly threat to earth'

Unseen "dark" comets could pose a deadly threat to earth, astronomers have warned.

The comets, of which there could be thousands, are not currently monitored by observatories and space agencies.

Most comets and asteroids are monitored in case they start to travel towards earth.

But Bill Napier, from Cardiff University, said that many could be going by unnoticed.

"There is a case to be made that dark, dormant comets are a significant but largely unseen hazard," he said

Scientists estimate that there should be around 3,000 comets in the galaxy, but only 25 have so far been identified.

"Dark" comets happen when the water on their surface has evaporated, causing them to reflect less light.

Astronomers have previously spotted comets heading towards earth just days before they passed.

In 1983 a comet called IRAS-Araki-Alcock passed at a distance of just 5 million kilometres, the closest of any comet for 200 years, but it was noticed just a fortnight beforehand.

Tests on another comet, called Comet Borrelly, in 2001 revealed it to have large dark patches across much of its surface.

Steve Larson of the University of Arizona's Catalina Sky Survey in Tucson, which monitors comets, said the idea of an unknown number of "dark" comets circling earth had "merit".

But Clark Chapman from the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, Colorado, said that such comets "would absorb sunlight very well" and so could be detected by the heat they emit, reports New Scientist magazine.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Geologists monitoring Mount Redoubt for signs of a possible eruption noticed that a hole in the glacier clinging to the north side of the volcano had doubled in size overnight — and now spans the length of two football fields.

An earthquake was felt at 9:15 pm on Thursday, January 15th in Jackson, Alpine, Etna and Thayne, Wyoming, and Idaho Falls, Idaho. According to the US Geological Survey, it was a magnitude 4.0 event located just north of Alpine Junction at a depth of 3 miles.

This earthquake occurred at the south end of the extended Teton Fault zone along the eastern base of the Teton Mountain Range. Geologists call this area the “Seismic Gap” because of the lack of recorded earthquakes—a linear area along the large Teton Fault, which is unusually seismically quiet. The recent swarm of hundreds of earthquakes in Yellowstone National Park lie near the northern end of this “seismic gap”.

This seemingly quiet seismic zone centered along the Teton Fault has been the site of magnitude 7. plus earthquakes in pre-historic times. The Faults have created the Grand Teton Mountains and shaped western Wyoming. Another magnitude 7. plus earthquake will fill this gap sometime within the next several hundred years. Some earthquakes are preceded by a perceptible increase in seismicity at one or both ends of the “seismic gap”. There is currently no reliable way to know in advance which small earthquakes are foreshocks to large earthquakes. There is no scientific basis to predict that a large earthquake is imminent.

But this is a reminder to dust off your earthquake response plans. There are precautions that can be taken, just like fastening the seatbelt in your car, to increase safety just in case a bigger earthquake should happen:

1. Revise or develop an earthquake plan. How will your family get back together if roads are blocked, bridges are down, and telephones do not work? Discuss with family, neighbors, and friends how everyone might respond to such an emergency. Employ a "buddy system" so that you can confirm that your neighbors are not trapped, and visa-versa.
2. Have some emergency medical supplies, food, fuel, and cold-weather clothes/sleeping bags on hand.
3. Be sure your gas appliances (especially stoves, hot water heaters and furnaces) are fastened down and use flexible connections to the gas supply.
4. Know how to shut off water, gas, and electric inputs to your home and office.
5. Think how your belonging would respond to a sharp vertical and slightly horizontal motion.
6. Be sure fragile glassware, pieces of art, valuable equipment such as computers are fastened down or enclosed in latched cabinets.
7. Remove or fasten down large heavy items that could fall from high places, especially from shelves over your bed. Secure book shelves.
8. Be sure to have a neighborhood evacuation plan for river-bottom and other low-lying areas. Get to know your neighbors and share knowledge of resources before emergencies.
9. Have access to portable power generators and be ready to take care of yourself and others for extended periods of time.

There is no reason to be overly concerned at this time. Just be prudent.

"...Scientists say the string of 500-plus tremors that have been felt there in the past week is certainly atypical, according to the Times of London. Furthermore, the floor of Yellowtone’s caldera—a volcanolike formation usually formed by collapsed rock after an eruption—has risen about three inches a year for the past three years, “a rate more than three times greater than ever observed since such measurements began in 1923.”

Time magazine quotes a passage from Bill Bryson’s “A Short History of Nearly Everything,” in which Yellowstone geologist Paul Doss indicates to Bryson that an eruption could very well happen now, for the simple fact that “Nobody was around the last time it blew, so nobody knows what the warning signs are.” There may be sporadic earthquakes, strange geyser patters or a lifting of the surface, but “nobody really knows.”

The University of Utah Seismograph Stations reports that a notable swarm of earthquakes has been underway since December 26 beneath Yellowstone Lake in Yellowstone National Park, three to six miles south-southeast of Fishing Bridge, Wyoming. This energetic sequence of events was most intense on December 27, when the largest number of events of magnitude 3 and larger occurred.

Need I remind anyone that the Gaza War got underway on Dec. 27th? and the final clearance from Washington must have come on Dec. 26th.

I believe this war is being fought at Washington's behest and according to their dictates and that it is a setup to provide them with an excuse to become an occupying force in Israel. At the very least they mean it to be a means of forcing a "Palestinian State" upon us and that is bad enough!

They got hit with Katrina for ordering the Gaza expulsion of Jews and handover to our Arab enemies. They can't seem to keep their hands off of Gaza and now look what's brewing.

Yeshayahu 34.6-10:

"...for the Lord has ... a great slaughter in the land of Edom. ...For it is a day of vengeance for the Lord, a year of retribution for the plea of Zion. And its streams shall turn into pitch and its dust into sulfur, and its land shall become burning pitch. By night and by day, it shall not be extinguished; its smoke shall ascend forever and ever; from generation to generation it shall be waste, to eternity, no one passing through it."

"Scientists have very few answers, but they do know that the impact of a Yellowstone eruption is terrifying to comprehend. Huge areas of the USA would be destroyed, the US economy would probably collapse, and thousands might die.

And it would devastate the planet. Climatologists now know that Toba blasted so much ash and sulphur dioxide into the stratosphere that it blocked out the sun, causing the Earth's temperature to plummet. Some geneticists now believe that this had a catastrophic effect on human life, possibly reducing the population on Earth to just a few thousand people. Mankind was pushed to the edge of extinction... and it could happen again.

The Zohar predicts a period of darkness lasting for fifteen days corresponding to the plague of darkness which occurred in Egypt.

Just imagine what will be when they attempt to lay hands on Jerusalem.

YELLOWSTONE still shaking one week after first tremor. The small earthquakes that began in the park a week ago continue. They include three more earthquakes Friday that measured stronger than magnitude 3.0. A quake of magnitude 3.5 happened at 11:30 a.m., followed by quakes measuring 3.2 and 3.1 at 12:40 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. Several hundred quakes centered under the north end of Yellowstone Lake have now occurred since last Friday. The strongest so far was a magnitude 3.9 quake last Saturday.

But the same study also said: "Depending on the nature and magnitude of a particular hazardous event and the particular time and season when it might occur, 70,000 to more than 100,000 persons could be affected; the most violent events could affect a broader region or even continent-wide areas." A supervolcano event does not appear to be imminent. "We don't think the amount of magma exists that would create one of these large eruptions of the past...we would expect to see more and larger quakes, deformation and precursory explosions out of the lake. We don't believe that anything strange is happening right now."
